Anish Giri’s huge chance | Vidit vs Anish | No castling chess | Death Match 1.0 Game 3

Anish Giri was still trailing the match with a score of 1.5-0.5 as we moved into the No castling chess format in game 3 with a time control of 7 mins + 2 seconds increment. All the rules of the game are the same but both players cannot castle their kings! This new variant of chess has been suggested by former World Champion Vladimir Kramnik. The game seemed very normal, and it seemed very calm, but all of a sudden the Dutch no.1 got his chance! Did he manage to take it? Check out the video.

Score before this game: Vidit 1.5 Anish 0.5

  1. Death match 1.0 was far better tha 2.0

  2. The commentator is insane with his insight. I like it.

  3. C1=q could have been stopped easily byBd6andBa3 in stead of King move.
