lmao i tricked one of my opponents into stalemating the game, it happened in the endgame, at the edge of the board a pawn was one square to promotion and that was my opponent's only piece other than his king, and i was left with only my king, i blocked his pawn, and he made one of the bad mistakes by going behind his pawn, but either way, it's stalemate.
I had no pieces left my opponent had 3 queens and was about to promote another one he moves the pawn abd stalemated he tried to be toxic and not checkmate
I still consider stalemate a nonsense since this in Chinese chess and shogi should be lose for the player who can't move.
I mean, you can't decide whether you move or not, king should walk into the attack and get taken, instead of suddenly getting the ability not to move in a turn.
STALEMATE IS SHIT! I HATE ITTTTTT! I GET OVERLY CONFIDENT WHEN THE OPPONENT LOSES ALL PF HIS PEICES AND START MAKING QUEENS WITH ALL THE PAWNS I HAVE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN A STALEMATE HAPPENS AND IT ENDS IN A DRAWWWWWWW
Sometimes I feel so comfortable because I have a queen and he’s has only a king left. Then something like this happens🥲 Thanks for explaining, now I can play without worrying about a stalemate
I recently started chess my friend told me to win u should check mate other King which means the king has no legal move and in hope of doing so I stalemated many times
I played chess with my dad and it also happend like this and he said that i got checkmated A day later i checkmated him and he said that this is stalemate so i made him watched this shorts. Know he know!
For all of you mad that you couldn't end the game think of it like you could have killed the king, but by not doing so you decided to let him live and retreat to fight another day with another army therefore postponing the war. You should have killed him when you had the chance.
I'm relatively new to chess and think it's a stupid rule. How does it make Sense that If one Player played so Well, to the point where the Other Player can't even move, its counted as a Draw?
This is officially the most stupid rule of chess. I want to know which moron though of that. This shouldn't be draw. This should be a win for the one who trapped his opponents king.
How is a stalemate confusing
In Chinese chess, a stalemate is a loss for the stalemated player.
I would say En Passant is still more frustrating 😂
Stalemate is kinda greater win than regular win
i hate stalemate
OH, So if king place is not in danger, its stalrmate???? Anyone can say yes
"Stalemate almost always occurs at the end of a game"
In my experience it has always occurred at the end of the game
Love that chess has WWE rules lol
basically a stalemate is when the opponent has no legal moves to play, if it occurs then it's a draw
I was in the middle of a game and this helped alot thanks bro
It makes no sense if the king cant move then thats checkmate

A stalemate is when you have no legal moves and you're not in check and it's a draw
That was the exact move I played just now at same position to opponent leading stalemate.
This is what I did, I sacrificed THE ROOOOOOOOK for stalemate when someone was ahead.
I had no pieces left my opponent had 3 queens and was about to promote another one he moves the pawn abd stalemated he tried to be toxic and not checkmate
The 50 rule move: 🗿

me when I can't get checkmated
my opponent:its over you can't defeat me
me:i know but he can
stalemate:ahhhhhh

I now officially hate stalemate. I recently cornered him from all sides and he would have died no matter what, but somehow it’s a draw. Wow.
I recently started chess my friend told me to win u should check mate other King which means the king has no legal move and in hope of doing so I stalemated many times
So that's why it was a draw when I moved my pawn 🤔
I love tricking people to stalemate when I’m losing.
I mean, i keep winning every game with stalemate
Frustrating? How about stupid?
I played chess with my dad and it also happend like this and he said that i got checkmated

I get so mad when I get stalemates. It's such a dumb rule
For all of you mad that you couldn't end the game think of it like you could have killed the king, but by not doing so you decided to let him live and retreat to fight another day with another army therefore postponing the war. You should have killed him when you had the chance.
Stalemate should definitely be a draw
I'm relatively new to chess and think it's a stupid rule. How does it make Sense that If one Player played so Well, to the point where the Other Player can't even move, its counted as a Draw?
Misread the title as "What is Stalemate Chess?" and was intrigued
Is this a gd reference
This is officially the most stupid rule of chess. I want to know which moron though of that. This shouldn't be draw. This should be a win for the one who trapped his opponents king.
one man's trash is another man's treasure
"Stalemate almost always occurs at the end of the game"
Huh. Wonder why that is..
it’s a stupid rule but I love it
Enta kaka
in literally every other cousin of chess stalemate is a win… chess is just that one guy in the friend group
This p*sses me off! I am annihilating them and then a DRAW?? Wtf
Good idea about attempting a stalemate on the other end of it.
Why hasn’t this been removed from the game of chess. It literally makes 0 sense and is the sole reason a lot of people don’t play
Cant the pawns just make a stall move so the person doesnt have to move the king?
So
I like to get draw in chess? Wow 👏👏👏
I got stalemated multiple times while playing with my friend and every time it happened I just laughed the word "draw" and he raged. It was hilarious
My mom got mad today because of a stalemate and she said its a checkmate.
Fun fact: stalemating your opponent in Xiangqi is considered a win
watch this after stalemating as a 400, stalemated a 450 while I was dominating😭😭😭
Who can stop me from feeling healing emotions
Now i know y i had a draw with my friend🥲
